This software (Part No. FT-PRINT) allows users to maintain a database on departmental personnel and print ID tags right from their office laser printer. This program provides two major benefits:

1. It upgrades Clemens customers to computerized data processing so that they no longer have to rely on handwriting or a typewriter to fill-in the ID tags.

2. It provides an easy way for any customer to print ID tags containing a PDF417 high capacity bar code so that they are compatible with the Fire-Trax system.

The software provides three ID tag templates from which to choose:

* Clemens Classic:
This template is exactly like the original Clemens tags.

However, instead of having us print the department name & logo, the user enters this information into a software template – if they don’t have a logo, they can choose from stock Maltese Cross logos which are provided. Also, instead of typewriting information on to the tag, the user enters personnel information into a database and prints the ID tag from the laser printer. The tag is run through the printer twice: first to print the outside of the card (name, logo, etc.) and second to print the inside of the card (medical information). Order the same ID tag stock as for Clemens (FPV-A) with four ID tags per sheet, perforated for easy tag assembly.

* Fire-PAS V:
This template uses the same database as above, but additional information is provided on the ID tags including qualifications as well as a PDF417 bar code to make the tag compatible with Fire-Trax.

Once again, the user enters the department name & logo or chooses a stock logo. As an option, on the backside of the tag the user can select a medical Bar Code with a stock Star of Life, or the user can substitute the logo with a person’s photo to make the tag a photo-ID. Once again, the tag is run through the printer twice.Uses the same ID tag stock (FPV-A) as above.

* Bar Code Only:
This template uses the same database as above, but instead of printing an ID tag the program prints a PDF417 bar code to Avery label stock.

This allows the user to affix the bar code label to an existing ID tag and make that tag Fire-Trax compatible. This program can also be used in the field for generating temporary ID tags at a prolonged or large-scale incident. The labels include human-readable text with respect to Department Name, Persons Name, ID # and Qualifications.
